ZEN+ : Simple, Direct, Effective : ZEN+ Benefits

Why you’re not at the mercy of your genes

By Marcus Santer

Yesterday I found myself in the photo box.

I was looking for a picture of my sisters old car to share with you.

I know there’s one in there but I couldn’t find it.

Which isn’t surprising when you consider there’s 43 years worth of photographs in that box. All scattered and mixed up. Pictures of me as a baby next to me on a motocross bike and so on.

But I couldn’t help but notice I look older than I did 20 years ago.

Hey, stop laughing will you.

Jeez, I know how ridiculous that sentence was, but I always try my best to be as transparent with you as I can. And I promise I am going somewhere useful with this.

Okay, pick yourself up off the floor and let’s move on shall we?

So what struck me was how gradual the change has been over the years.

And last night I was talking about this with a friend over a coffee. He’s got 20 years on me and as I talked he simply sat there listening and smiling.

When I finished he said: “Getting older sure beats the alternative Marcus.”

S’true dat.

Then he told me how he’d been in Totnes earlier in the week. His old stomping ground where he went to school and grew up.

And as he was walking down the street he heard a voice shout:

“Jonny you old bastard, how you doing?”

He turned and looked at this puffy faced, balding old man who’d spoken to him and thought: Who the hell are you?

The guy continued looking at him and said: “You don’t remember me do you? It’s Donald White.”

And the penny dropped.

He’d gone to school with this guy: “Chalky! My god it’s been such a long time.” He said.

But the years hadn’t been kind to Chalky.

And my friend continued:

“How is it some people look pretty much the same year in year out and yet others look rougher and rougher?”

Now I know the answer to this question.

And the deeper I dig into it, the deeper I realise the subject is.

And the subject is Epigenetics.

To sum it up for you it means your genes aren’t fixed and your environment and your lifestyle choices can change the behaviour of your genes for better… or for worse.

If you’ve got the ZEN+ book PDF you can find out more in Chapter 21: Junk in Your Gene Pool? on page 108. And you’ll discover how most of the triggers for turning on or turning off the genes that speed up ageing and illness are quite simple to influence and work on.

Just look at the list.

Now, chronic stress is the one you might need extra help keeping in check.

Because it interferes with your body’s natural process of building you up and repairing you.

Which is bad.

And it’s why Qigong forms one of the cornerstones of a ZEN+ lifestyle.

My research has convinced me the correct practice of Qigong is one of the most powerful – non drug – ways to counter the affects of chronic, on going, grinding stress.

And unlike drug interventions, because Qigong also helps you to increase your resistance to stress it allows you to not just survive, but to thrive.

Big difference.

To sum up, if you want to stack the odds of a longer, healthier and happier life in your favour.

Qigong has to be a daily part of your ZEN+ lifestyle.

And if you’ve never taken my Qigong Secrets Home Study Course (QSHSC), you’re in for a treat. Because I’m offering a 2-week test-drive of the 22 week course for just $4.95.

Full details waiting for you right here.

Bye for now

Marcus

P.S. I know there will be some people reading this who’ve been with me since I first started flying solo in 2009.

And if that doesn’t work, send me an email, give me your full name and I’ll look into it for you.

But give me a few days to get back to you because I’m up to my eyeballs in Tax Return at the moment.

P.P.S. Page 152 of the ZEN+ book is well worth a read too.
