Is this the reason why you’re not getting enough sleep?

“Bedtime procrastination may be a relatively modern phenomenon, we speculate that it is not so much a matter of not wanting to sleep, but rather of not wanting to quit other activities.

With the development of electrical devices and the 24/7 entertainment industry, people may be facing many more distractions now compared to several decades ago.”

In the study over 2000 people kept a sleep diary.

A much more significant factor was sleep procrastination.

Even though they were tired.

In a previous study done by researchers at Utrecht University, their survey showed that while people usually procrastinate to avoid unenjoyable activities, going to bed doesn’t fall into this category.
