The Goldilocks Principle

The more research I do.

The deeper I dig into how to live and age well.

The more I come to the conclusion health is guided by the Goldilocks principle.

I don’t think health is about extremes of anything, it’s more about balance.

I’ve reached this conclusion after reading up on Homeostasis yesterday which Wikipedia describes as:

Homeostasis – The human body manages a multitude of highly complex interactions to maintain balance or return systems to functioning within a normal range.

Keywords: Balance and Normal Range.

It’s all about getting it…

Just right

Like Goldilocks.

You see your body is constantly adjusting to your ever changing environment. Seeking to keep the complex systems within your body within a normal range.

If it fails…

Death, disease or illness is the result.

So only a fool would want to make it’s job harder by:

What these right amounts and tools are varies from person to person.

But there are broad strokes that apply to all of us.

E.g:

I can sum it up for you by saying:

Help your body to maintain balance and promote growth and it will reward you by helping you to live and age well.

Don’t and you’ll suffer the consequences.

It’s as simple as that.
