She was driven by a desire to prove them all wrong…

The Saturday Quote:

“It’s a silver medal but I still feel like a winner. It’s been a long ride. I was on crutches last year at this time. I had to learn to walk, I had to learn to run and today I just threw it all together and finally executed.”
Shara Proctor – 1st British women to jump over 7 meters

I heard the interview with Shara whilst cleaning Louis feet after his morning walk.

I was intrigued so I did a little digging and discovered that this time last year she had to withdraw from the 2014 Commonwealth Games because of a thigh injury.

She spent 4 weeks on crutches.

And thanks to rehab and GB medical staff, she came back better and stronger than before. Winning silver in the long jump in Beijing yesterday.

That’s impressive.

During rehabilitation she was told she might never be as strong because of the injury, but she wanted to prove everyone wrong and she used this desire to help overcame her rehab challenges…

And come back stronger than before.

It’s an inspirational story.

Maybe you’re facing your own challenges right now?

I don’t know.

But back in my Qigong healing days, the most important requirement I looked for in a client was their desire to get well.

If they had it, I knew their chances of success were good.

Without it.

Well, you know the rest of that story.

So whatever you want to do, be or have – It all starts with the belief that you can.

Even if it’s just to prove everyone else wrong =)

Nuff said.

And if you’d like assistance with any of the above…

My ZEN+ Home Study Course can help.

Bye for now
