ZEN+ : Simple, Direct, Effective : ZEN+ Benefits

Early morning ramblings of a sunshine deprived Devonian…

Here we are at the start of a brand new week.

I’m sat here surrounded by darkness with only my cup of Japanese green tea for company.

And I’m letting my fingers type as I rummage around inside my noggin thinking of something to write today.

Thing is, I want to be in bed.

Every winter I get more and more convinced that I’m actually solar powered.

And as we slide further into November it’s getting colder here in Dawlish and it would be so easy to creep back up the stairs and crawl under the duvet.

So easy…

But I won’t.

How come?

Because I’ve got things to do.

And if I don’t do them, they won’t get done.

Plus I still remember one of the lessons I learned from watching Air Crash Investigators with Ollie…

That it’s usually a sequence of:

Which lead up to a crash.

It’s rare for one single event to bring about catastrophe.

And that’s just like your health.

You don’t get overweight, weak or burnt out overnight.

It takes a catalogue of small errors and poor choices made over a long period of time.

And these quickly become regular habits.

Habits

Why is it that good habits are tough to get into and tougher to maintain?

Yet…

Bad habits are easy to get into and a bark to get out off?

Doesn’t seem fair does it?

But fair or not, that’s the way it is.

So instead of crawling back into bed and writing this later, I’m here sipping my green tea and pushing the keys with my fingers.

Because it’s a good habit.

And it’s how you stack the odds of living a longer, stronger and more independent life in your favour too.

There is no secret to living and ageing well.

Just simply making the right choices and having the tenacity to keep making them.

It’s not a popular message.

Most people want:

They don’t want the truth.

But if you think you can handle the truth about what it takes to create a life worth loving…

You’ll love my ZEN+ Book.

On page 20 I’ll share with you the truth about habits.

P.S. Anyone who says they want to be:

And stack the odds of living and ageing well in their favour…

Yet doesn’t have a copy of ZEN+ The Art and Science of Living Healthier for Longer is lying to themselves.

How come?

Well let me sum up by sharing a quote often attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson:

“What you do speaks so loudly I can’t hear what you’re saying”
