Are you a helicopter? An aeroplane? Or a train?

I’m a big fan of Eric’s work.

And I remember it was back in 2011 when he first introduced me to the idea of:

So what’s this got to do with you?

Well, let me explain what each of these is (when it comes to human behaviour):

Helicopter – You go from where you are, get some new information and *boom* you take off with it.

Aeroplane – You need a bit more space, you need to chew over new information a little, gain a few more facts and then *boom* you take off with it.

Train – You take a lot of space to get going. And frequently you stop and you start and you stop and you start. But once you gain enough momentum, once you start to see results *boom* you become unstoppable.

So which are you?

If you’re a helicopter or an aeroplane then you probably don’t need much help making the sacrifices necessary to live and age well.

You simply read the good information I share with you here and *boom* you take off with it.

But…

What if you’re train?

What if you stop and start and start and stop?

If this is you, you might have tasted a little success, but you’ve never had big success.

And you’re likely to struggle with making the sacrifices necessary to stack the odds of a longer, healthier and happier life in your favour.

Trains don’t need much help getting started, they need help to keep going.

And that’s where I come in.
