10 Things you could do every day to improve your life

Here are 10 things you could do every day to improve your life…

(In no particular order)

01) Get 7 – 9 hours of sleep – Sleep isn’t a luxury it’s essential for your good health.

02) Practice Qigong for 15 minutes – Once a day or twice a day if you’re really keen. When it comes to switching off your body’s stress response and turning on it’s healing function, Qigong is hard to beat.

03) Go for a walk – Walking is great exercise especially if you can do it in the countryside.

04) Eat real food – The less your food has been messed around by man the better.

05) Eat only when hungry – Stop snacking. You’re not a cow that needs to be grazing all day.

06) Break up long periods of sitting – You’ve evolved to move and to squat. Not to sit down on your butt all day. Aim to move out of your chair once every 30 to 40 minutes. Even if it’s just to stand up and sit down 10 times.

07) Be grateful – Write down 10 things, experiences, qualities, abilities, people and so on that you’re grateful for in your life today.

08) Share the love – Send an email, text or letter to someone thanking them for something.

09) Spend time with friends – Even if you’re an anti-social sod like me, you still need and benefit from social contact.

10) Read – Reading is to your mind what exercise is to your body. Aim to learn something new everyday and share it with someone.
