ZEN+ : Helping you Stay Young and Age Well

This is what shows who you truly are

By Marcus Santer

The Sunday Quote:

“It’s not our abilities that show what we truly are.
It’s our choices.”
Professer Dumbledore

In less than a week, Ollie and I have watched all of the Harry Potter movies.

We sat down last Saturday to watch the first one and Ollie was so gripped that by hook or by crook we managed to watch the last one on Friday.

I’d forgotten how dark they were.

But once again I was reminded of the gift of friendship.

I can’t remember which film, maybe the 5th or 6th one, where Harry decides he’s gotta leave Hogwarts and go looking for the missing pieces of Lord Voldemort’s soul.

Ron and Hermione sit there listening and say he’s a fool if he thinks he’s doing it on his own.

Touched me it did.

Reminded me of Frodo and Sam in Lord of the Rings.

And of Buffy, Willow and Xander in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

And of Daphne, Fred, Shaggy, Vilma and Scooby doo.

If you have good friends, treasure them.

The subject of friendship is very important and it’s part of the Plus in ZEN+.

But what I had planned to bring to your attention today was how important the choices you make are to the quality of your life and your health.

You have to make the right choices and act on them.

You see, I can talk all day about how I’m going to shift some weight, eat right and do my calisthenics.

But talking won’t make it so.

Neither will ability.

Ability is nice, but nothing is more common than unsuccessful folk with ability.

Your life is the result of the choices you make.

And then you just have to take action on you choices.

Very simple.

Very ZEN+

And if you need help getting clear on what choices are the best for you right now and support in actually making them…

Write to me.

Bye for now
