The Secret to Wealth

By Marcus Santer

The Saturday Quote:

“The secret to wealth?
To train in something you like,
that people are always going to need
and are happy to pay well for.”
Michael Myerscough

This advice would so’ve come in handy as I finished school.

As it was, I wasted decades of my life in dead end jobs getting frustrated, demoralised and broke.

Oh, well.

Here in the UK, it’s the time of year when 16 year olds are finishing their exams and getting ready to take their next step on their life journey.

Take my nephew for example.

  1. He loves cars with a passion that’s infectious when he talks about them.
  2. People are always going to need cars (for as long as we can find fuel to run them)
  3. People are happy to spend varying chunks of cash for them

He ticks the 3 boxes my friend Michael mentioned and with the correct training/qualifications he’s all set up to be wealthy.

And make no mistake about it Boo-Boo a certain level of financial wealth is vital to your happiness.

If you want to take issue with that…

Read this ==> More Money, More Happy? <== So if a young person you know is sweating about their future path in life, make sure you spend some time helping them to find the place where:

  1. What they enjoy
  2. What people need
  3. What people will pay for

All meet up.

And then find out what training they need.

Of course this process also works for adults too.

It’s just getting the training or qualifications required can be exponentially harder, usually because you’ve got your hands full just trying to maintain a status quo – without taking on extra.

But, as the saying goes…

“If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.”

Now because I was up a little earlier than usual this morning, I had time to make a brilliant info graphic to visually represent this idea.

The Secret to Wealth

Right, time for Louis morning walk.

Have a lovely weekend.

Bye for now

P.S. It’s taken me 44 years to get two of the pieces of this puzzle dialled in.

  1. I love helping folk to live happier, healthier and more active lives
  2. People are always going to need to know how to get and stay healthy

But it’s the third part I’ve always struggled with.

Because the truth is, the majority of people don’t want to pay for prevention, they want instant fixes, pills and potions to sort them out when the wheels fall off their life.

Fortunately there are still enough folk who understand that their health is their responsibility.

And they’re happy to pay for information that helps them to get and stay fit, strong and full of vitality.

The hard part is finding them.

Though I’m guessing you’re one of them, or you wouldn’t still be reading this.

So if you want access to 120 lifestyle tips – based on a strong scientific foundation – that when applied can help you to live a happy, healthy and more active life…
