ZEN+ : Helping you Stay Young and Age Well

The destroyer of your health and how to avoid it… According to Plato

By Marcus Santer

The Saturday Quote:

“Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save and preserve it.”

Over 2,350 years ago Plato understood and promoted the importance of exercise.

Something we’d all do well to remember.

But what is methodical physical exercise?

According to my dictionary, the world methodical is defined as: “Done according to a systematic or established procedure.”

Now I get it.

You start where you start and then gradually, over time increase what you do as your body adapts and grows stronger.

You know what?

That sounds exactly like my ZEN+ Callisthenic chains.

A systematic approach based on an established procedure for building strength.

And why do you want to get strong and continue to build strength?

3 main reasons really:

  1. Stronger = Easier – Stronger muscles help to make everything you do easier.
  2. Stronger = Safer – Stronger muscles protect you against injury. Especially from slips and falls. Falls are the commonest cause of death from injury in the over 65’s [1]
  3. Stronger = Healthier Bones – Stronger muscles keep tension on your bones causing them to grow thicker and stronger which can help to reduce fractures.

And here are 7 measurable benefits you can expect when your practice methodical physical exercise:

  1. Longevity – 2.5 hours of moderate activity per week can reduce risk of mortality by 19%.
  2. Brain – Exercise activates the release of proteins that can help to protect existing brain cells and promote the growth of new ones.
  3. Anti-ageing – Regular exercise helps you to age well because it provides you with a wide range of physical and psychological benefits. From strengthening bones to improving your brain, from reducing cancer risk to boosting self-esteem, or simply to help you look good naked.
  4. Reduce Risks – Exercise can reduce the risk factors associated with cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
  5. Stress – Moderate, regular exercise improves stress management.
  6. Stroke – Statistics show that those who are moderately active have a 20% lower risk of stroke.
  7. Diabetes – Regular exercise offers a strong protective role in the prevention of non-insulin-dependent diabetes.

So why won’t you use methodical physical exercise to save and preserve your health and vitality?

These are some of the main reasons that stop people from exercising.

But with the ZEN+ Callisthenic chains you don’t need to worry because:

What next?
