ZEN+ : Helping you Stay Young and Age Well

The 7 Habits of Healthy Ageing

By Marcus Santer

I got an email from my friend Paul earlier this week.

In it he shared a quote with me:

“The search withholds the joy from what is found”.
Wendell Berry

It’s from the book Camino Divina (Walking the Divine Way) by Gina Marie Mammano

Now that’s pretty deep wouldn’t you agree?

“The search withholds the joy from what is found”

My interpretation is that if you’re so busy searching you miss what you have in the present moment.

Which reminds me of a conversation I had with Clarabella years ago. During which I proudly proclaimed:

“I’m a Seeker!”

She turned round and said:

“Well don’t you think you’d be better off being ‘A Found’?”

She’s far more level headed and grounded than me…

Thankfully =)

Truth is I’m still a seeker, I continue to enjoy searching for proven ways to live and age well, but I no longer allow the never ending searching to stop me enjoying the facts that I’ve found.

And over the last 5 years I’ve found 7 habits I consider vital to stacking the odds of a longer, healthier and stronger life in your favour.

And I’ve recently ranked these 7 habits in order of importance:

And called it: The Healthy Ageing Pyramid or The HAP for short.

I’ve been working with people since 2003 to help them live longer, healthier and happier lives.

And I’ve seen a lot of people get it ‘completely upside‘ down when it comes to living and ageing well.

Which is why I finally decided to create The HAP.

And whilst every level is important…

… They’re not all equal.

Really mastering the first few foundational levels will give you a much better return on your effort than only focusing on the levels higher up – Like most people do.

Of course, if you’re really smart, you’ll want to master all 7 levels.

If you want full details of each level of the HAP you’ll find everything you need in my new book: The Healthy Ageing Pyramid – Discover the 7 health packed habits proven to help you stay young your whole life.

And it’s only available here.

Bye for now
