Searching for the Loch Ness Monster in Exeter

By Marcus Santer

The Saturday Quote:

“It is interesting to note that during the Second World War the German High Command had sufficient confidence in the reality of the monster to actually drop bombs on Loch Ness with the intent of destroying the creature and, thereby, damaging British morale.”
Donald Simanek and John Holden: Science Askew – A light hearted look at the scientific world

I did something very unusual yesterday.

I took a day off work.

I know.

I found myself in Exeter with Clarabella looking for a hand bag.

I can hand on heart say I’ve never seen so many handbags in a single day – Ever.

And yet the right handbag proved to be as elusive as the Loch Ness monster.

On and on the search went for the right handbag.

And like the Loch Ness Monster – we never found it.

But it still lives on in Clarabella’s imagination =)

Even so, it was still nice to get away from my Woffice for the day and float around soaking up the atmosphere and the bright lights of the big city.

Well as big as you get in this neck of the woods.

Anyway, that’s it for today.

No major revelations or great truths to share with you.

Just the value of having a change from the norm every now and then.

Have a great weekend.

Bye for now

P.S. Whilst I might be useless at helping my wife find the right handbag I’m a round peg in a round hole when it comes to helping you live a happier, healthier and longer life.

You’ll find everything you need in my ZEN+ book.
