10 Sensible ways to stack a healthy weight in your favour

You know what?

In my line of work I come across a lot of crap.

Crap about how to:

And so on.

But most of it has to do with weight.

So today I’d thought I’d give you 10 sensible ways to stack the odds of reaching a healthy weight in your favour.

So in no particular order I give you…

1) Start in the kitchen – When I first decided to get rid of my bloated gut I thought I was going to have to hit the gym and sweat my ass off. But my research quickly showed me it was what I was eating where I was going to have to put in the work.

Exercise on it’s own is a very inefficient way to lose weight.

A bit like cutting a cucumber with a carrot.

It can be done, but why make life hard for yourself?

Use the following 9 ways to reach a healthy weight in combination with exercise if you want maximum results in minimum time.

2) Snacks – Over the last 4 years I’ve tried a wild array of strategies and diets. And do you know the conclusion I’ve reached?

It’s all Milky Way’s fault.

Let me explain…

The ‘hook’ of their adverts go something like this…

“Milky Way the snack you can eat between meals without ruining you appetite.”

Ugh, ugh.

I’ve found 3 square meals a day without snacking in between to be one of the most sensible methods for keeping my waistline acceptable.

3) Be the tortoise not the hare – I’m a huge fan of doing a little of something over a long period of time.

Through years of trail and error I’ve found this to be a simple and sustainable way to get anything done, from being able to do 10 straight pull ups to keeping weight off and everything in between.

How come?

Because you need to to make what you’re doing as easy as possible.

And taking small steps is how you do it.

Which reminds me of a lame joke…

Hey I did warn you.

Key message?

Trying to lose a stack of weight quickly isn’t healthy and is rarely sustainable.
