ZEN+ : Simple, Direct, Effective : ZEN+ Benefits

This is worth saying again…

By Marcus Santer

I‘ve said this before…

But it’s so important I’ll say it again.

After all repetition deepens the impression.

So here goes:

There’s the way the world is and there’s the way the world should be.

And the the size of the gap between the two in your life will dictate how much self inflicted suffering you experience.

But there is a solution.

Want to know what it is?

Acceptance, as in…

“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.”

And it’s vital to realise that acceptance doesn’t mean you like or approve of the situation, it simply means you’ve stopped wasting your energy swimming against the tide.

So what brought today’s philosophical mood on?

Being woken up by Clarabella’s tickly cough at 04:30 this morning.. that’s what.

And in spite of my awesome sleep routine I eventually staggered out of bed late this morning feeling exhausted.

Do I mind?

No.

Because: There’s the way the world is and there’s the way the world should be.

Here’s another example…

Despite mine and the organisers best efforts, so far there are only 3 people coming for the Norway PERFECT Qigong workshops.

Do I mind?

No.

Because: There’s the way the world is and there’s the way the world should be.

And a final example…

Ollie was born with cerebral palsy, cataracts in both eyes, asthma and eczema.

Do I mind?

Of course I f**king do.

But after a lot of hard work and support I’ve come to terms with it.

Because repeat after me…

There’s the way the world is and there’s the way the world should be.

Some things you simply cannot change.

And the more you wrestle against the way the world is, especially the things you cannot change, the more unnecessary suffering you will experience in your life.

Now don’t get me twisted.

If you’re overweight and out of condition.

That might be the way your world currently is… But you can certainly do something about it… If you want to.

You know what I’ve just realised?

Two things:

Okay, I’m outta here.

Bye for now

Marcus

P.S. I always get deep, moody and philosophical when I’m tired.

Fortunately I’ve got:

To see me elegantly through the day until bed time.

And if you’d like to have access to all these tools and more…

You need this in your life.
