The only time change is quick and easy is…

By Marcus Santer

The Saturday Quote:

“To become the person you want to be,
stop being the person you are.”
Jordan Francis

99 times out of a hundred change is really hard.

But there’s this one time when it isn’t.

Do you know what this one time is?

Let me tell you a very short story to illustrate my point.

I was grinding some titanium recently for a knife project I’m working on.

I’d finished with one end and swivelled it around to work on the other, but guess what?

Yup, you’re right.

The end I’d been grinding was freaking hot.

As soon as I put my hand on it, I swore loudly and took my hand off it.

And that Grasshopper is my point.

Change is quick and easy when it’s
more painful not to change than to change.

If I was reading this ZEN+ Daily post I’d have to stop now and re-read that last line a couple of times for its subtle message to sink in.

Okay.

Let me give you another example to illustrate my point further.

Four and a half years ago I looked at myself in a mirror and I really looked.

I didn’t kid myself.

I didn’t suck my gut in and puff my chest out.

I just stood there and looked.

And I hated what I saw.

Pipe cleaner arms, bird chest and bloated belly.

I didn’t pull my punches, I felt my personal pain and forced it to grow until it burned.

And you know what?

That pain helped me to overcome the hurdles and push through the barriers to getting my body into a shape I’m very happy with.

And I created the ZEN+ Project in the process.

Now I ain’t saying there’s anything wrong with pipe cleaner arms, bird chest and a bloated belly.

How you look and feel is a personal thing.

If you’re happy with the skin you’re in, great.

The point I’m making here is that if you want to change any aspect of your life for the better:

And so on.

And you want to make the process of change as quick and as easy as possible, then the more painful the current situation is for you, the quicker and easier your change will be.

Because if you just kinda wanna change…

As soon as you reach a challenge or an obstacle in your path – and you will – you won’t have the drive to get over or through it.

I speak from much experience.

So if you want to change something and you want to stack the odds in your favour…

Crank up the pain you feel about it.

And when it comes to all of the aspects of change I mentioned in the list above – with the exception of relationships and finances – The ZEN+ Home Study Course will give you all of the information you need.

Right, you get the point I’m sure, so let me recap:

Change is quick and easy when it’s
more painful not to change than to change.

It’s another ‘truth‘ that people don’t want to hear.

Right, I’ve got a knife to work on.

Bye for now

Marcus

P.S. When it comes to changing any aspect of your life for the better, my experience has taught me two things:

  1. 99 times out of a hundred Change is Hard
  2. The only time change isn’t hard is when it’s more painful NOT to change than it is to change.

So if you’re sick and tired of your:

And you want to change one or all of them for the better.

And…

You feel it’s now more painful not to change, than to change…

I’ve got just the thing for you right here.
