ZEN+ : Helping you Stay Young and Age Well

Making fat beats and a decision made…

By Marcus Santer

I was yapping with a friend yesterday.

He was telling me about an exciting discovery he’d made…

How to make fat beats.

I know.

I was at a bit of a loss too.

Then he explained how after years of being interested in music he’s started learning how to use a program called: Logic Pro

Yup, I had no idea what it was either.

Apparently it’s a very powerful way for making digital music and can take years to learn how to use professionally.

Now I have very little interest in making music.

In fact I was so bad at it at school that one parents eventing when all the kids gathered to play recorder at an interval, I was warned only to move my fingers but not to actually blow down the instrument.

S’true story.

Whilst I have no interest in learning how to make music, I’m always very interested in how people learn and I love listening to their experiences of learning.

Because there’re a lot of similarities.

And yesterday listening to my buddy, explain how he’d finally discovered how to make fat beats, I thought of 3

1) Back in 2005 when my mate Jay first showed me how to use html to make websites he told me html was a very powerful tool and there are many ways to get it to do what you want to.

Then he showed me his way.

2) When Big Claire With The Yellow Hair first taught me how to use Photoshop back in 2008 the first thing she told me is that Photoshop is so powerful there’re many ways of getting the same thing done.

Then she showed me her way.

3) Last month when I went up to Rugby to learn about making folding liner lock knives all the way through the process my friend was telling me how many different ways there are of getting a particular part of the build done.

Then he showed me his way.

Why am I telling you this?

Because yesterday as I listened to my friend speaking with excitement about the technique he’d found to make fat beats and how that technique had opened his mind up as to how to do even more dub step magic…

I made a decision.

You see, up until yesterday I was stubbornly holding onto an old belief.

A belief that there is only one best way to teach Qigong and that’s my teachers way.

But you know what?

I simply don’t believe that any more.

As my mum would say: “There’s more than one way to skin a cat.”

And she’s correct.

Let me explain.

As I write I’m preparing to go to Norway to teach 4 people PERFECT Qigong and Cosmic Shower.

I agree, it’s a long way to go to teach 4 people.

And what with having had to cancel the ZEN+ prototype workshop in July.

Having cancelled Qigong workshops in Romania and Portugal due to a general lack of interest.

I’m having to reconsider the merit of teaching workshops full stop.

But I know there’re plenty of you out there that want to learn advanced Qigong, but for whatever reason simply aren’t able to travel to learn it from me.

I get it.

So I’ve decided that come January 2016 I’m going to teach Cosmic Shower – the ultimate in Qigong cleansing – via the Internet.

I’ve been toying with the idea for quite a while now.

And thanks to my friends conversation yesterday and recent discussions with Paul H and Barry F. the idea will become a reality.

So consider this a heads up.

I’ll provide more details nearer the time.

Until then…

Bye for now

P.S. I’m thinking the course will be 4 weeks – online.

With new materials published each week.

Along with email access each week to ask your questions and 1 Skype session per person to really nail down the details at the end.

And Cosmic Shower is all about the details.

It’s gonna be stellar.

So stay tuned.

But in the meantime…

You should prepare with this.
