The story goes that Lincoln started laughing after reading something out to his advisors.

He found it very funny.

They didn’t.

Probably because of the seriousness of the situation.

But Lincoln was convinced it was because of the seriousness of the situation that he needed to laugh.

Some people refer to this type of humour as: ‘Gallows Humour‘ – and it can be a very useful tool to strengthen the morale of a person or group going through tough times.

Because laughter can be very powerful medicine.

So my question to you is this:

“When was the last time you laughed until your eyes burned and you gasped for breath?”

And if you can’t remember, I suggest you carve out some time today to: Find your funny.
