ZEN+ : Helping you Stay Young and Age Well

An Interesting Theme…

By Marcus Santer

I‘ve been noticing an reoccurring theme to a lot of the emails I’ve been getting recently.

Usually from folk like me who practiced Qigong for a long time, but noticed their physical body deteriorating with aches, pains and stiffness progressing with time.

In spite of practicing Qigong.

Now with me it wasn’t so much the aches and pains, it was the physical weakness and fat gut that played on my mind.

Here’s an example of what I mean.

Let me sure the reply I sent to John recently on this very subject, I think it sums the situation up nicely.

And if you’re a long term Qigong practitioner experiencing a similar dilemma know two things:

  1. You’re not alone
  2. There is a solution

Here’s the email:

Hi John,

You know what?

The thing about clichés is there’s usually a strong element of truth to them.

And men turning 40 and the things they do is a common cliché.

When I turned 40, I couldn’t afford a Porsche, so I did the other clichéd thing men do.

I Decided to get into the best shape of my life.

Because looking at my bloated belly in the mirror, I knew I had a lot of work to do.

Which at the time struck me as a bit strange having practiced Qigong for 11 years and being told that practising Qigong was all I needed to do to live a long, healthy and happy life.

Well, long, clichéd story short.

I discovered as good as Qigong is, it’s even better when you combine it with:

Put that lot together and you’re stacking the odds of a longer, healthier and happier life well and truly in your favour.
